Preparing for a New Year!
It’s hard to believe we’re starting our third season — it feels like our first concert for winter 2021 was both yesterday and a lifetime away. Since then, we’ve done a lot of firsts: we’ve sung classical music in a night club, sang the liturgy for mass on Pride, premiered a brand new work for Trans Day of Remembrance. We’ve also raised (almost!) $5,000 towards incorporation and operating costs, and we’ve started the process to become an official 501(c)3 organization.
There’s a lot of great things happening in the next year: we’ll be working with a composer-in-residence (to be announced soon!), we’ll be starting a series of concerts in the parks to celebrate the turning of the seasons, and we’ll be producing a theatrical production of STATIONS OF THE LOST. All great things…and we’d like you to come along with us for the ride.
There’s a lot of ways to get involved:
Sign up for our newsletter to get updates on performances and events,
Contribute to our GoFundMe to bump us up to the $5,000 mark,
Follow us on our social media and spread the word that we’re here, making history.
We’re excited to see what happens and we hope you’ll join us for the ride.

Trans Day of Remembrance
November 20 is the transgender day of remembrance, a day of commemoration begun in 1999 by trans activist Gwendolyn Ann Smith as vigil to commemorate trans lives lost to violence – particularly trans women of color, the most frequent targets of transphobic violence. In the years since, it has expanded further into a dual day of remembrance and resilience: to remember the lost, certainly, but also to honor the life, spirit, and contributions of the living trans community, too, through art, music and poetry.

FUNDRAISER RESCHEDULE
Due to construction issues beyond our control, we regret to inform you that the October 28th fundraiser for STATIONS OF THE LOST must be postponed until later in the season. Unforeseen issues concerning the art studio with which we're collaborating mean that it's no longer possible for us to hold our event in the space currently…
