Prepare for Pride with Transcend

Prepare your soul for Pride with TRANScend! This May, TRANScend brings you gospel & good tidings with Ain't Got Time to Die! - An Uplifting Community Concert with Lavender Light, and Greedy Peasant’s Pride Eve at the Cathedral of St John The Divine.

On May 16th, TRANScend & Lavender Light present a musical cultural exchange of gospel & queerness! Featuring the work of Hall Johnson, noted by Bayard Rustin as one of his own gay role models, this collaboration seeks to uplifting Johnson’s legacy in our shared communities, and highlight the queerness that has largely been erased from his legacy. This event is free and open to the public!
